Farmstead Dairy Alliance of CT

In response to the increased consumer demand for quality raw milk and locally grown food in CT we proudly announce the formation of the Farmstead Dairy Alliance of CT, a coalition of retailers, consumers and CT licensed producers of raw and pasteurized farmstead dairy products.  We are in the process of forming a non-profit 501c6 organization.  As the organization progresses be sure to find more information on CT farmstead dairy products and how to support the farms on this website.

 
A farmstead dairy product is one that comes from a dairy were the milk is produced and then bottled into raw milk or processed into various other dairy products.  In other words farmstead products come from farms that feed the animals, produce the milk, make the dairy product, and sell the product. This way the consumer can see the animals who produce the milk and the farmer that handles the product.  From animal to product on one farm, no extra fossil fuels in between.
